began and is the first one this week. Notably, the previous draw on July 8
invited 3,200 candidates in a category-based selection for French proficiency,
requiring a minimum CRS score of 420.

CRS scores for PNP-only draws tend to be higher due to the additional 600
points awarded to candidates who receive a provincial nomination. For instance,
a candidate with a base CRS score of 300 who gets nominated will have their
score boosted to 900.
