Important Reminder for ITA Recipients

If you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you must submit a complete and truthful application for permanent residence. Misrepresentation — providing false or incomplete information — can lead to severe consequences, including:

  • A five-year ban from re-entering the Express Entry pool
  • A finding of inadmissibility to Canada

Applicants are fully responsible for the accuracy of all details and documents in their application. Even unintentional errors can be treated as misrepresentation if they impact the outcome of your application.

Final Thoughts

With more frequent draws and targeted categories, now is a great time for eligible candidates to strengthen their Express Entry profiles. Whether you are a PNP nominee, a skilled worker in a priority occupation, or someone with Canadian work experience, staying informed and ensuring complete and honest documentation is essential.
