IRCC Invites 3,000 CEC Candidates in Second Express Entry Draw of the Week
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has
held its second Express Entry draw of the week, issuing 3,000 Invitations to
Apply (ITAs) under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category.

As of June 26, IRCC has issued a total of 41,845 ITAs
through the Express Entry system. The draw distribution so far:

- Canadian
Experience Class (CEC): 6 draws
- French-Language
Proficiency: 3 draws
- Healthcare
and Social Services: 2 draws
- Education
Category: 1 draw
A Shift Toward More CEC Draws?
This marks the first time in 2025 that CEC draws
have occurred in back-to-back weeks, breaking a trend of limited CEC
activity between February and early June. During that earlier period, IRCC
prioritized PNP applicants and smaller category-based draws.
