On June 26, 2025, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee
Program (MPNP) held two new draws to invite skilled workers and
international graduates for permanent residence through provincial nomination.
These invitations were sent to foreign workers and
international students with ties to Manitoba who are seen as strong
contributors to the local workforce and are likely to settle successfully in
the province.
International Education Stream – 478
Invitations
Under the International Education Stream (IES), 478
Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued. To be eligible, candidates
needed to:
Applicants must provide documents to prove this
relationship and the supporter’s length of residence in Manitoba. Supporters
also need to submit a settlement plan with the application.
Note: This draw does not change the
overall eligibility requirements of the International Education Stream.
Skilled Worker Stream – 14 Invitations
The MPNP also issued 14 LAAs under the Skilled
Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas streams. These
candidates had declared that they were invited through Manitoba’s Strategic
Recruitment Initiatives.
To receive an invitation, candidates needed a minimum
score of 712.
