Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has
once again invited thousands of candidates through the Express Entry system,
specifically targeting those under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream.
On July 8, 2025, IRCC invited 3,000 CEC candidates
to apply for permanent residence. This draw had a minimum Comprehensive
Ranking System (CRS) score of 518, marking it as the lowest cut-off score
for a CEC draw since September 2024.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 45,201 Invitations to Apply
(ITAs) under the Express Entry system.
Current Trends in Express Entry Draws
Throughout 2025, Express Entry draws have mainly focused on
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, followed by Canadian
Experience Class applicants. IRCC has also held targeted draws for candidates
with French-language proficiency, as well as those working in priority
occupations such as healthcare, social services, and education.
A consistent pattern has emerged where CEC and PNP draws
are held every two weeks, showing a balanced approach between federal and
provincial pathways.
