Express Entry: IRCC Issues 1,000 Invitations to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Candidates
On August 7, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and
Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw focused on Canadian
Experience Class (CEC) candidates. In this round, IRCC issued 1,000
Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency.
To qualify for this draw, candidates needed to:
- Have
a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 534
- Have
submitted their Express Entry profile before 6:22 a.m. UTC on August 3,
2025
This is the second Express Entry draw of August and
follows a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw held on August 6,
where 225 ITAs were issued.
Express Entry Activity in 2025 So Far
As of this latest draw, IRCC has issued a total of 50,628
ITAs through Express Entry in 2025.
