Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) conducted one of its largest draws of the year on September 2, 2025. Through three separate draws, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued a total of 2,643 invitations to apply under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills streams.

Focus on Healthcare and Education Occupations

The draws primarily targeted candidates currently living in Canada who are working in high-demand healthcare occupations, as well as early childhood educators and assistants. All profiles considered were created between July 2, 2025, and September 2, 2025.

Next Steps for Candidates

Those who received invitations must submit a complete application to the OINP. Successful nominees will then be eligible to apply to the federal government for permanent residence.

OINP’s New Employer Portal System

As of July 2, 2025, applications under the Employer Job Offer streams must be submitted through the Employer Portal. This change places more responsibility on employers. Only candidates whose employers submit a valid job offer and register an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the portal are being considered in draws.

If a candidate created an EOI before July 2, they must work with their employer to re-submit their profile through the new portal.
