Ontario has invited 1,680
candidates to apply for a provincial nomination under the Ontario
Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The invitations were issued through the Employer
Job Offer streams, including the Regional Economic Development through
Immigration (REDI) pilot, which focuses on supporting economic growth in
smaller communities.
These targeted draws aimed at candidates working in healthcare,
early childhood education, and other skilled occupations essential for
regional development.
Highlights of the October 9, 2025 OINP Draw
Ontario conducted two rounds of invitations through
its Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The draws targeted occupations
that meet current labour shortages and support regional expansion efforts.

Employer Job Offer: Health and Early Childhood Occupations
Ontario issued 1,590 invitations to candidates under
the Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand
Skills streams. These candidates work in priority healthcare roles
or as early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
Only candidates currently residing in Canada and
meeting all eligibility requirements were considered. Employers were required
to submit valid job offers through the OINP Employer Portal.

Ontario also invited 90 candidates under the REDI
pilot, designed to help smaller communities attract and retain talent.
This draw targeted candidates from the Foreign Worker,
International Student, and In-Demand Skills streams who are currently
residing in Canada and working in specific Census Divisions such as Lambton,
Lanark, and Leeds and Grenville.
