What This
Means for Candidates
These latest
Alberta draws show that the province continues to focus on candidates who can
support its labour market needs.
Healthcare,
technology, rural community development, and Alberta-based workers remain
important priorities for the AAIP in 2026.
Candidates who
have work experience in these areas, or who are already working in Alberta, may
have stronger opportunities through Alberta’s provincial immigration pathways,
depending on their eligibility and profile.
