British
Columbia has issued more than 350 invitations to skilled workers and
entrepreneurs in its first British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program draw of
June 2026.
On June 2,
2026, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program conducted a new selection
round and invited candidates working in priority occupations, as well as
entrepreneurs interested in starting or purchasing a business in the province.
In total, the
BCPNP issued at least 357 invitations to apply for provincial nomination. These
invitations were issued through the Skills Immigration category and the
Entrepreneur Immigration category.

been held under Skills Immigration, while six have been held under Entrepreneur
Immigration.
BCPNP Skills
Immigration Draw
The Skills
Immigration draw made up the majority of invitations issued on June 2. British
Columbia issued 342 invitations through this category.
This draw was
aligned with the province’s new immigration priorities announced on April 23,
2026. These priorities focus on attracting skilled workers who can help fill
important labour market gaps in British Columbia.
The latest
selection focused on two main objectives:
Care:
Supporting healthcare, education, veterinary care, and related services.
Build:
Supporting construction trades and infrastructure-related labour needs.
Out of the 342
Skills Immigration invitations, a significant number were issued to candidates
working in construction trades. The remaining invitations were issued to
candidates in healthcare, education, veterinary care, and other care-related
occupations.

What This
Draw Means for Applicants
The June 2
BCPNP draw shows that British Columbia continues to focus on workers and
entrepreneurs who can support the province’s economic and labour market needs.
Candidates in
healthcare, education, veterinary care, construction trades, and business
ownership pathways may continue to see opportunities through the British
Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.
Applicants
interested in British Columbia immigration should review their eligibility,
keep their profiles updated, and monitor future BCPNP draws closely.
